Fun in the Sun in Destin, Florida

After a very short training class at Eglin yesterday, Troy, Al and I spent the day in Destin.  At Harbor Walk Village to be exact.

We walked along the Harbor Walk, enjoying a Kona Ice, feeling the nice breeze, and getting some sun.  I got more than Troy and Al, but the burn is worth it.

We rode down to the beach and walked along the shoreline to collect a bottle of sand.

We took a ride on the Hannah Marie and looked for dolphins.  Unfortunately, the swells were too bad, so the captain took us to calmer waters for a little dolphin watching where were able to see a family of dolphins {we assume a mama, a daddy, and their baby}.

We enjoyed having a new caricature drawn by Deano. {We joked about not having any family portraits made but having caricatures drawn every chance we get. So we are now calling our caricatures our family portraits.}

We came home relaxed and refreshed {except for the stress caused by driving through the rain}.  It was a well needed break {even if it was just one afternoon}.
